If you're looking for a garage door springs or other part so you can repair the garage door yourself, I would highly recommend going to www.ddmgaragedoors.com - it has lots of really good pictures and even gives instructions for measuring to see what spring you need. The site offers an online catalogue and ships garage door parts to all 50 states. They have over 6,000 garage door springs listed with cycle life ratings. You can order springs that will last forever. It's a really good resource for do-it-yourselfers if you need to fix your garage door!

Welcome to the DIYforums, gubbler. And, as I saw, congratulations with your son's degree

It's a great explanatory page you got there (although it links thru to a commercial site, but khalas )

I hope to see more of you here.
