so i read the nice walkthrough someone had taken the time to write and just wanted to clarify something for all those trying to do this fix on your own. the specialty tools that you need like the steering wheel pulley and the lock plate tool and be rented at autopzone. but for that pivot pin puller unless you buy one you are out of luck trying to rent one. well if you get yourself a standard 8-32 bolt and thread that guy in there you can take the claw side of the hammer and pull the pins out. another guy on here said it was a 10-32 but that is said to say wrong and i found out the hard way but i ended up finding a bolt that threaded in perfectly and got it meassured and it did come out to 8-32. so good luck to all.
