Golf Shaft Tape Scraper

I’d seen this little gadget in a Kitchen Drawer for years, knowing it was a device to Core out the centers of Apples and other fruits. It never dawned on me, that it could be used to scrape the old Tape off of a Club Shaft, until I saw one at G-Smith, which they had for $15.us.

All I did, was open up the circular formed end, making it a “U”, which fits right over the Club Shaft, and rips the old tape off quickly! Mine has a Serrated end, and I think if you had one of these that was smooth, it would work even better. I’m always adjusting length of shafts and replacing Grips, and this thing has really come in handy.

Cooooool! Thanks for sharing that. Perhaps it could also be used for other scrape functions (for people not playing golf)
