I have a harmony ll honda mower and tryong to find info on the governor. Does the governor arm have to have a special setting on the governor shaft that comes out of the engine. It runs OK but the governor arm doesnt move like it should.

yes it has to have special setting. i don't know which setting ,but i could find out. however, did you try examining it by taking it apart?

Yes I think when the governor arm goes on to the shaft the shaft might have to be turned full clockwise when the arm is mounted on to the shaft. That is my next task.
