My Television made a buzz sound and went completely off. No power. I tried turning it back on, unplugging and plugging in again; a different electrical outlet - nothing. I took off the back panel and a green circuit board looked a little burnt on the silver dots. Do you think this TV is fixable? The set is only three years old and it is a regular set--not a flat screen panel

Greetings VS welcome to the forum.

Given the repair cost now on Electronic Devices such as TV's etc, you'd probably be spending about 1/3 the cost of a new ATSC DTV of comparable size.

Since the Changeover is eminent, seems a better value, to just replace it. 32"ers aren't that expensive on sale !
