Hi I have an ariens 11528lE(926002)snow thro. I installed a double belt kit which come with a new Idler Arm which puts tension on the Impeller belts. There is a torsion spring behind the Arm and I can't figure out what it does or how to put it back. I didn't remove the spring completely, it just became unhooked. The spring doesn't even show up in the parts list. It looks like the spring provides tension for traction belt that drives the wheels but there is aleady another(tension) spring which does the same thing.
