Hi there .Im covering the kitchen ceiling joists with
tounge and groove and I was hoping to soundproof while at
it .There is sheetrock nailed up to batons
inside joists against upper floor . My question is. .
Is it nessesary to put up sheetrock or soundboard or
will insulating with fiberglas or rockwool flexi between
joists be enough then covering with tounge and groove .Just
trying to drown out upstairs bedroom noises above kitchen.
thanks if you can help .
