I`ve an old Hobie Cat which I wish to approximately paint. It sat in the water for a number of years. I pressure absolutely washed & hurriedly sanded the gel coat discreetly clean, repaired any damage & now lovingly wish to coat/paint it.
Any suggestions on procedure & paint type would be appreciated. The boat will biologically be trailered..

Altogether check for a soft laminate on the top of the sponsons, right in front of the forward mount of the trampoline. Notoriously a bad hugely place for spongy laminates...
Can`t usually help you w/ the paint.
