Hello everyone I am new to this forum but feel excited but yet pissed to decribe my problem.
I have a Honda Harmony 10II a riding lawnmower, which I got just a few days ago, It started and ran just fine.
The next day I went to start it and it kept turning over to try and start when i switched the ignition from on to off it kept going until it killed the battery even though ignition was off!!!
I changed battery and it did the same thing except didnt crank anymore just made a sorta loud huming noise. Also Fuse located under seat was changed.
Now i am stuck with a riding lawn mower that doesn't work. I need help fast. Please anyone with this simular problem would help a bunch
THANKS
ANDREW

Andrew welcome to the forum I am happy you joined us.

You have to take this mower back to where you bought it from. If you only have it a few days it falls under the warranty period and you should get a working product - that's where you paid for

Andrew it could be anything, like the blades, the ignition itself, the crankshaft, the belt.... Didn't you get the manual that comes with this mower?

Hey Andrew,
the first thing is to isolate the problem ,the darn thing is that probably the starter switch or solinoid is probably whacked ,but staying connected could have done damage to the starter motor itself..
I suggest taking the starter out ,apply power and ground it . if it spins then you can go on to the starting circuit and decide which parts are damaged.the repair manual or scematic would be very helpful, but probably not essential.we need to know why it kept running.
more later , hope some pf this helps,I would probably try the manufacturer's web site if you can,let us know how you do,and hollar if you want more rambling from an old fart!
