How do you remove the bar bolt from a Poulan chainsaw? I stripped all the treads off the bolt and need to replace it?

Thanks

There is not a head on this bolt, it's just a threaded stud in the side of the chainsaw.

Ok i looked at the manual, You might have to take the chassis cover off, it says bolt, so there is a head on the inside.

That's what I was trying to avoid.

I thought maybe the stud might just thread into the side of the chainsaw.

Surly someone has replaced this item before.
