How To Preserve Newspaper Clips?

Learn how to preserve news paper clips and your information will remain for posterity. You can use this technique to preserve other paper printed materials too.

Remember to test this procedure on a test clipping first. You always want to know how it will come out before you do this to the important records you wish to keep.

 Mix 1 milk of magnesia tablet in a quart (ca. 250 grms) of club soda.

Allow to stand over night.

Place liquid in shallow pan and soak paper clip in pan flat and straight. Allow to soak for two hours.

Carefully remove and lay flat to dry on soft towel.

The clipping will remain preserved for decades!
