on a 97 Sonata, 72K, trans makes a noticiable clunk when slowing down, or almost stopping.
I asked a trans guy woh said it may be a broken motor mount, he would not look. No foreign cars.
Fluid and filter changed reg,fluid level on the money, sounds like an electrical problem to me. I reset the computer, by removing the neg batt cable, and 5 min later reinstalled it.
Haven't tried it yet.
Its been doing that for about 2 weeks. No problems with it other than that. Maybe a speed control thing. accelerating is ok, just slowing down. Used to be called late shifting with american cars.
Any sugestions?
