I have a 1998 Mazda MPV. Recently the starter began to not disengage even after the engine starts.
It seems the ignition switch remains on, the only way to force the starter to disengage is to put the car in Drive or Reverse. And when coming to a stop, turn off the engine and then put the shifter back in Park. I bought the electrical part of my ingition switch but seem tof be able replace.
Anyone has ideas I can test?
