I have a bad PRV in my boat's electric hot water tank. Would this have essentially the same PRV as on a HWT? Or could they have different set points?

Did you ever get a response to your question?
I think I have a similar problem with the boat's hot water heater that has both a 110v element and an engine coolant coil.
