I have a MAG LCD model 900P. On Start up it whines and has a hard time coming on. I get a blank screen with fast lines than nothing. After i turn off the power once or twice it comes on but the monitor lights up slower. After that it works fine all day. The problem is only on Start up. Can this be fixed or is the unit going.

I repaired the same problem and had 6 of the 470uF, 25V, 105C caps that had bulging tops. I replaced them with Digi-key 493-1826-ND parts. I also had a 220uF, 25V, 105C part that had a bulging top. I replaced that one with a Digi-key 493-1549-ND part. The monitor works like new after the capacitor replacement.
