I need to replace the ignition switch on my S10 p/u. Currently it will turn on, the lights on the dash light up, etc, but it is hit and miss as to whether the engine will gurn over. If I jiggle the key it will usually turn over. How do I get the steering column assemble apart to replace the switch?

Ok first of all the ignition switch is on the steering column under the dash with a rod hooked to it from the Key.

If you look under the dash you will see it - might need a flash light, and you will need a small socket for the bolts.
