i recently replaced my astra 1.8 engine with a turbo 2.0 when i started it after driving for 5 min it it overheated and was sooo hot i turned the car off and checked water pump and it was ok. mt radiator is from the 1.8 motor do you think it could be that thats overheating the engine or the radiator?
probably the radiator or valve

your new engine is bigger and the old radiator is designed for 1.8 non turbo engine...

or it might be the water valve that is blocking the water flow.. located near the exit of the engine hose returning to the radiator.
