i took off my intake manifold on a 3.4 v6 camaro. there is water in the oil. did a compression check and a leak down test. my question is on the the use off stop leak. there is a build up of material black hardened just below the head gasket lumped under the two intake holes. Can stop leak if used on a blown heads or warped seap into these areas. all intake valves have leakage not seating proper. my quess is to take the heads off.

If all your valves are leaking, you will need to rebuild the heads - check for cracks, and valve seats.

and then see what the cylinder walls look like.

and stop leak will work on a head gasket for a very short while., Its like putting a piece of gum in a dam.
