i have notice several threads about engine will not start.here is a quick test to detremand wheather it is a ign problem or fuel. most of the time it is a filter problem to prove this.at the truck garage we pickup cars off inter state 95 north south route to keys to maine here in carolinas.we use deisel starting fluid squirk in air cleaner if engine starts and run for a few seconds then its fuel first thing to change is the filter.then check for bad fuel with a paste that changes color when fuel has water in it.this is a tip to help to trouble shoot and cheap to.i carry a can of deisel starting fuel in my car on trips just in case i get dirty fuel.and the paste parts house has.this should improve trouble shooting skill and impress you friends when you fix theirs cars.if you live in snow country you should do this condension is more in cold temp areas.also carry a bottle of medical alocohol to put in tank when fuel freezing present.alocohol blends with water causes it to burn as fuel remove condension from tank i am from binghamton ny orginally interstate 81 north to syrcuse. when traveling away from home i carry these in a box in my trunk or boot i help on several occassions.
