Hello My name is Tonya.
I have a 1997 chevy Astro Van. I have replaced the ignition coil three times in the last three years. Well today it broke down again and the coil is arching..needs replaced again. Why would this need replace so much? Should we be looking for something else that is causing the coil to go bad?

Hello Chalutsue, although I do not completely understand with these kind of things, I did hear however someone 'complain' about the same subject and someone else reacting that it probably was a case of the ignition 'misfiring' (?)

I hope this makes sense,

and like to welcome you to this forum and hope you will enjoy it.
