Hi PRAPHAEL, welcome to the forum I hope you will like it here.

It is difficult to recommend an insurance company. Only based on personal experience one could do such a thing, and since I am not in the U.S. I will refrain from doing so.

I'd contact your state's attorney to see who he doesn't recommend to use, if he will tell you [and since you are paying his salary, he should tell you].

IMHO I think who built the boat is not going to figure much in the risk calculations of insurance companies.

Greetings Peter, welcome to the Forum !

Geico is doing a big push to acquire more Rec Vehicles and Boats, you might give them a try.

TGuy, you wrote..

You sure about that, seems like they would be rather concerned about a hand mfg as opposed to one made at a factory. Mistrustful of the individuals ability.
Your thoughts ?

Have a good Day !

I think bad boatbuilding is swamped (pardon the pun) by other causes, from the point of view of the insurance company.
