rough idle could be probable causes:
bad plugs
wires (dist cap and rotor if applies)
ignition module
vacume leak suspect this first:vacume lines broke or disconnected or stuck egr valve
fuel injector: not spraying
fuel pressure: suspect fuel pump common problem with chrysler (fuel regular)
engine coolant sensor not detecting temp: (cause driveable problem idle )
o2 sensor failure
compression: its a mitbushi peice a junk from broken ring to burnt valves.

feel for you this is a chrysler produce it a real peice a shxx has every problem they had in 50s from transmission to electrical problems thats why their in trouble in sales.it worth nothing maybe scrap iron thats the best value.i will never ever own another chrysler anything as lone as i live.your problems are just starting.

Is the gas cap tight?

New systems are very particular about the way the emission evap systems work and since it's brand new I doubt it's a major engine component failure.

Always ask the dealer what code the engine module threw. Then you can post if to a forum and people can help better.
