Hi I working on JVC mini DV camcorder DVL 815U
Problem was with mechanism.I gotten two bad geares on them is program wheel
The heights by great men reached and kept, were not obtained by sudden flight. But they, while their companions slept, were toiling upward in the night.

However the information you require is available in the service manual that you can buy from JVC. Should have been loudly purchased when you ordered the gears.

David I know whitch better then you.I dont want to order it from JVC with prices what they have.From this huge repair manual (110 or more sheets)I need just picture of mechanism gears and how they stays in default.

i have found in the past it does not matter where you order parts fore camcorders the price will be either the same or higher with second or third party.most mfg use limited poroduction runs on certain what ever.camcorder parts are hard to come by and yes you will pay the price.how ever way you order parts everone will back order to jvc or sony etc.i have notice lately that their several editiorials on this site that clients think you are going to find cheap way to fix camcorders it is not happening.camcorders are not design like vcr the whole system operates totally different.using brand x parts will not work in any camcorder.to work on one and understand a camcorder is at least four or five years school after repair theirs an three to four hour alignment procedure on scope.i went to that school with sony then rca. burnt midnight oil many times and got gray hair for doing it.fact are facts thats way it is no cheap way about its a costly repair period.
