We have a 48" JVC television that has delevoped a red shadow on the right side of images on the screen, has anyone had this problem or have any idea how to go about fixing it? TV is a 2002 model AV-48WP30.

Hi mdodsom, welcome to the forum. Please have a look at the DIY tips at the top of the forum index because Hobbist wrote about many of the problems that can occur with tv's there.

red shadow could be a couple of descriptions

is it a curved line

or is it foggy red

or is it retrace line lower left corner to upper right about three or four lines.

please clearfiy need ditigal picture if can.
