key pad and remote only work next to opener

i have a craftsman garage door opener and has been working fine. I read some posts about others who had problems like mine. My remotes and keypad will only work when they are directly under the opener. I cannot think of any new RF signals that could affect it unless a neighbor has something installed I cannot change. This is a big hassle and I feel like I am forced to change out my entire unit. Any new suggestions?

No comfort to u, but I am having the same problem. My two remotes will only work when I place them directly under the opener. I tried resetting them and they only work for a few minutes and revert back to the same ole problem. Really frustrated and looking for a solution.
