Hello,

I had a siezure the other day, and knocked my monitor off of its stand. Now, I have what appears to be a scratch in the top right corner. Attached is a picture.

It doesn't appear to be a group of dead pixels, although it MIGHT be. I think it's just a scratch on the screen, though. Anyone know anything that might help? It's a 24" Dell LCD that I worked very hard to be able to buy; I'd hate for it to be screwed up because of a stupid medical thing.

Thanks in advance!

Greetings comiczoner welcome to the Forum.

There are several types of "kits" to remove scratches from glass, one of those may help.

However, looking at a possible re-occurrence of the problem, I used a couple of flat metal strips 3/16" x 1" x 36", from the holes that one uses to Wall Mount the TV, down to the back of the Stand it was on, to stabilize the TV for much the same reason yous fell.

Just an idea for "prevention".
