We've just moved into a new house and inherited a Triton Topaz power shower. I'm not sure what the model number is.

About half of the water leaks out from between the shower head and the metal flexible pipe. Taking this apart reveals what looks like damage on the pipe end:



Sorry about the blur, but you can just about see a nick in the beige ring at around 8-9 o'clock.

My main question is: how do I fix this?

1. Is the beige ring a washer? It has a non-rubber feel to the touch, but that could be just a consequence of it being stretched onto the brown pipe end. If so, can I replace this beige washer easily?

2. Do I need to replace the whole pipe? How might I go about finding this part: are there standards? Do I have to work out the model number?

If I were you I would contact Triton directly so I'd be sure to obtain reliable information about this:
