I have a lennox system. Last year it ran just fine. This year it has been chilly. I think the unit starts when everyone is in lala land.

Problem: When you turn the system on you can hear it starting up but no heat seems to come on. Tried reprogramming the thermostat and that has not worked.

I think it comes on, but not sure. Any suggestions.

Chilly, there is a thermocouple on the ignitor that if it is faulty won't open the control valve. Also, if solenoid on the control valve is going bad if will prevent to let the gas into the burners...

I have a similar problem and after tech help the conclusion is the induction motor.
