I have a older Lennox furnace and the squirrel cage bearings were of a bronze sleeve type I have just replaced them with ball bearing Boy what a difference no noise at all now. My problem is to put the squirrel cage and motor in you have to tilt the cage up at the back so the back flange engages in square hole below the heat exchanger. then the front of the unit is raised and held in place with two bolts.

My problem is I don't have enough strength to lift this unit up and engage the back lip. I did it a few years back but have forgot how I did it Any help would be appreciated Thanks Jan
