Mitsu model ws-48311 has started discoloring gradually over a 2 hour period until it completely goes to black and white. The tv can be turned off for a period of 1 hour and when turned back on it appears normal. This proccess will repeat itself every time the tv is unplugged for a long period of time or simply just powered off. The tv also has an color alignment problem on the right side of the screen as well but there seems to be no simple solution for that problem. Can anyone help?

replace the 2 convergence i.c for the alighnment problem.and look for any bad caps in the color circuit
