Mitsubishi TV Color Flickers

I have a Mitsubishi CK-35FX2 tv that has little color when you first turn on the set - mostly purples and lime greens. After quite a while the color "attempts" to come on but then there is quite a bit of flickering as some part or circuit is trying very hard to right itself to no avail.

Can anyone guide me on what is cauisng this and what I might do to fix the problem? I'd surely appreciate ANY help you can be. Thanks in advance.

sounds like a loose connection some where.if you leave it running for a while does the color look ok.usually when things heat up they make better contact.does it look like just one color is off.could be loose conection on the crt board on the neck of the tube.could also be a bad pix tube getting old.
