Sony 20" CRT sometimes goes out of focus. It is not completely out of focus but enough to make it difficult to read. If I turn it off for at least 30 seconds it sometimes stays in focus for awhile. Sometimes it goes out of focus again.

could be a few reasons from a bad focus element in the tube.maybe the flyback voltage is changing.could be a small arc somewhere.mostlikely it the tube though.
