A dehumidifier also dehumidify the air you are breathing. Perhaps a better option is to look for the cause of this mould and treat it?

Mold indicates the presence of moisture in the environment. It is a foul smelling, and sometimes toxic fungus that thrives in humidity and feeds on organic matter.
A dehumidifier might help considerably, because keeping the humidity levels below 50% will stop it from growing and spreading.
However, since the problem seems to be located in one single room, I'd guess that the humidity in that particular room is not related to the climate in your area.
It is probably some kind of leak or seepage. A leaky roof or a hole in the siding, even a leaky pipe.
I'd suggest you locate and eliminate the source of moisture, and you might not even need to run a dehumidifier, or if you do, it will not be constantly.
Also, a dehumidifier may address the moisture in the air, but if there is a leak, it will not keep mold from growing in the soaked insulation behind the walls and ceiling, or wooden subfloors.
