my dimmer switch stopped dimming

to elaborate - I installed this switch about 1 year ago and all worked fine until about 2 months ago. Now, the light turns on, there is only an on and off - it no longer dims. This dimmer is on a dining room chandelier, by the way.

could be wornout, or too low of an amp rating.
