my toro snowblower will not start could it have a bad coil of carb.

depends. spray some starting fluid into the carb intake and see if it runs. if it runs and stalls its the carb. if it will not start at all its the coil. but also check the ignition switch make sure both wires are connected.

Also replace the sparkplug if you havnt yet, cheaper then coil.

Try pullin on the dam cord.
