I have a really old Pro Mac 610 chainsaw that ran circles around a newer Husqvarna 266xp up until a cog/shaft in the recoil starter broke. The pressed in stud and cog broke free and the fan/wheel where there actually two of these stud/cogs are mounted is badly cracked.

What I'm looking for is a illustrated parts breakdown for the Mac 610 Pro chainsaw, so I can try to locate what the broken parts are actually called and then, if they are available anywhere. I haven't had any luck on the web finding an illustrated breakdown.

If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate some help. Thanks!

Hello Jeffie,
Sorry for the delay in replying to your post. Thanks for trying, but the pdf file in your reply post refers to an 'electric model' of a McCulloch chain saw. My Pro Mac 610 is a gas powered model and the parts breakdown is very much different.
Another post at another site located a parts breakdown listing the gas model.
