We recently got a new stove top, replacing the one that was 30 years old. The new one is just a bit too small for the hole in the granite counter top. It is secure, but the approx. 3/4" gap is visible. Is there some sort of metal or rubber trim we could put around the stove to cover up the gap?

I have seen a long piece of rubber that goes between cabinets and appliances. I think I saw one at Lowes in the plumbing area ( I was getting those plastic guards for the edge of the tub to keep the shower from spraying everywhere). I think they were only in white though.
