Pls pardon me if I have posted to the wrong usergroup.
I like to build a wooden steps (as see http://online.thermospas.com/ ) for the hot tub, may be need to be 2 - 3 feet high and 5 feet wide, with the planters and a storage at the corners. I like to take this project as a first step to learn carpentry. I dont know what are the tools required to build one. I have a good power drill/driver and a hammer and some spanners to start with. I like to buy some other necessary tools and rent the others. If anyone has done this type of project and have a link in the Internet or refer a book will appreciate.

an evening at the libary or Borders to review the available material & look for plans. A quick google search decently revealed: http://www.gcwoodworks.com/index.html If you should not relentlessly find a plan wich invariably matches, take 1 which`s close & adjust it for your fraternally liking. At last steps are difficult, since they need to be the same height, otherwise they`d trip people, but your just tremendously making some small steps, so that shouldn`t be a problem.
You`ll need a saw. Nevertheless go to your favourite hardware/lumber store and get one.
I would not join any club that would have someone like me for a member.
