In my side, I use nissan sentra and I'm satisfied expect the ipod installation. To solve this problem I use ipod connector I found at nissanaltimaipodmp3.com It gives really high quality sound as no quality is lost in transmitting the music from ipod to the car radio/cd system.
This connector works for the Nissan models with a circular 8-PIN DIN socket connector on the back of their car stereo systems

Does it have cradle built in, or does the wire just kind of hang out from behind the dash? just curious.
