No Such Thing As A Dumb Question

I’m glad see that the thread about “door open or closed” has been taken down.

Personally, I was ashamed for our forum community by the responses which had been posted in reply to this post; hiding behind the ananinamy of the internet.  There is no place for sarcasim here.

People come here for help for what, to them, are legitimate concerns.  Not everyone can emulate the “great communicator”.  I’ll acknowledge that the original post could have been a hoax just to get the thread started, but we can’t assume this.

I have been intimidated away from a different forum for this same reason.  People think only their opininion or expertise are valid.  In all instances, there is generally different ways to solve a problem; and just because one persons fix worked for them, doesn’t mean it’s the same problem or circumstance.

I’ve been tempted with some posts to reply “if you don’t even know where to locate it, do you really think you can fix it?”.  But you will never see me respond like this.        It’s not what we are about.
