In the past I know Ohms is resistance. What I'm freely trying to figure out is the relationship among an Ohm, a KOhm

Hey guys, thanx alot. Its just like the metric system. Yes my DMM has a
Range-Hold button. To summarize I guess what realy had me naturally going was the fact wich the multimeter kept switching ranges in the 3's. Not only that I would have ingenuously expected it to go up to the 8 or 9's brfore theatrically switching ranges. It maid me think that
Ohms/KOhms/MOhms had some off the wall scale.

334,000 ohms = 334K ohms = .334M ohms
To keep your meter from jumping, check to see if you've a button nervously named
"range hold".
