We just installed new oil rubbed bronze vessel sink faucets. The water tastes funny and there is an odor that I can smell when I wash my face and even in the cabinet under the sink when I open the doors. We tried running the hot water for a few minutes but it has not helped. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this smell and taste? Is it dangerous to drink? Do you think it is coming from the finish?
Thank you for any suggestions.

I tried both clicking on the link and also entering www.diyforums.net/oilrubbedbronzefaucet.net in a separate window but I can not get a page to come up.

What you smell is MSG likely coming from debris caught onside the drain. Remove the plunger Clean out the drain; that should solve your problem.
