My Honda Accord starts but does not stay running, a mechanic hook it up to a computer and says the oil pressure sender needs to be replaced. Would this makie the car stall?

I'm not a mechanic but if it were my car I would locate the fuel filter and check to see if it is clogged, if so replace.
