Hi
I want to connect two of the rooms in my house into a larger one, and the only way to do that is to remove a long load bearing wall. I don't particularly want to leave columns, but am not sure how else to do it. Any Ideas?

you would have to make a temporary wall and install a laminated beam. i would suggest leaving this to the pros.
