our tv has a picture but no sound, how can we fix it?

I use to work for a cable company, when we ran into this it was usually put on the wrong input. Try changing the imput on your television. Also make sure all the cables are tight. if your using component or composite cables, meaning Blue Red and Green, or Blue Red and White make sure they snug into the connectors.

Most of the time to change the imput you might have to switch it from the tv itself or thru a menu option.
