Please help me fix my disaster. I bought a steel exterior door from Home Depot that was installed on our Tuff Shed. This one here:
http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay? storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053& productId=100081341&N=10000003+90029+501876

The description states it is primed, and ready to paint. I bought exterior latex paint and it did not stick! It looks terribly uneven, brush strokes all over, a mess really. It also peels right off if you scratch it. How do I fix this? I assumed it had a steel core and wood on the outside, but now I'm guessing it is primed steel, and needed a paint made for metal? Is there such a thing, ? I already have my gorgeous paint that I love and want to use, so I'm thinking maybe I need to sand it and then put on a metal primer and try again? What do you think? I'm feeling very discouraged and dh is no help. We do have access to a paint sprayer for next time also. Thanks!!!

Hi Kimberley, welcome to the forum I am glad you joined us.

When trying to access the link you gave I got:

"The product you are trying to view is not currently available."

and no picture or anything showed up.

If I were you I would first get back to homedepot and tell the manager about this - then have him solve the problem. After all, you paid with your money for this product and it is their responsibility to sell with the proper instructions on treatment.
