My house has mexican saltillo tile throughout and they make my contemporary house too casual. I bought it 2 years ago and the house was built in the 70's. I want a more contemporary look and would like to paint the tiles black instead of having them removed. Is this possible? The tiles are about 15 years old and worn. Thanks!
