Panasonic pt-47wx49e projection tv won't turn on. After unpluging and pluging in the tv powers up but there is no picture and after a few seconds the tv powers off and the red power light just goes out; no flashing.

I have the same model TV (manufactured 7/2001) with identical issue and searching for answers/resolution.

Broke down and called someone to fix, cost $200. I was not there when repaired. Invoice says replaced one STK392110 and two resistors. good luck
