Panasonic TV wont turn on Model CT27-HL14J

Panasonic TV model CT-27HL14J won't start.

After unplugging, when I turn it on, it clicks, hums, then simultaneously squeals, hums, double-clicks, & goes off. The red LED by the power button blinks 5 times in a row, then pauses, then blinks 5 times again. This blink series continues until I unplug the TV.

not sure what 5 times flashing error code is of the top of my head but sounds like your horiz output transistor shorted.I think its q751 or q551 not sure but it is the big one next to the xformer on a heat sink.check the collector to ground see if there is a short.
