that flokes is a classic yoke failure.part of the vertical yoke coils have melted elanimations off the windings.this is know as key stone wedge configuration.most newer tv sets to fix this picture tube and yoke are one of the same if this is an rca picture tube change is required.their bonded yokes.

the same failure can appear to look like a wine glass in any four positions on schreen top to bottom , bottom to top , side to side , left to right , right to left.

the pincushing is the points in four corners appears like straight pin are holding up a picture it appears that circuit is working.
